Looks just like HTC Sense's Leap. Maybe HTC should be an ass like Apple and sue Apple for slavishly copying HTC's Sense UI.
Or Apple should sue HTC for stealing expose.

I'm sure Apple will progress the Mini to C2D when they Macbook is updated. The Mini only received a minor speed bump the last time around and I bet it had more to do with keeping consistant pricing than it did with updating a product.
If I remember right, the only change was the bottom end went from a Core Solo to Core Duo. And since the Core 2 Duos cost the same as Core 1 Duos, there is no financial reason for Apple to continue to use the older chips... so I agree the Mac Mini could be upgraded at any time.
However, from the roadmap I don't think that the lower end Core 2 Duos are shipping yet. I always thought it was odd that Intel would release the top-of-the-line chips first since there would be fewer production units which fit the standards (whereas running a CPU at a lower clockspeed or smaller cache would be OK).

I've just had another thought, there might need to be a "Gaming" subcategory in "Software" which links to the "Gaming" category (if you understand what I mean). Thoughts?
Good idea.
EDIT: Maybe a Software category with iPhone Software, Mac Software and Gaming as subcategories would be better...

I wonder if they'll do a version of the ad with the female camera that speaks Japanese, but make her an American camera that speaks English. :-)

I like the idea you have going here. I would like the saturation more realistic, but that's just me. Different framing and cropping come to mind. Maybe play off the differences in the textures and color, putting them closer and cropping or framing in tight. I may play with this idea when I can. I have nice oranges, but I need an apple. And the nice lighting setup you have.
Please excuse the PhotoShop hack of your image...:)
Dale
In the original photo I felt the black/white line was a little too high. In your crop I like the placement a little better. I can definitely see a framed print with the tight crop -- possible a gallery wrap.
Also wondering what it would look like with the orange slightly in front of and overlapping the orange a little, then the view closed in a bit more on them. Just thoughts!
Now that would be something to see - the orange in front of itself. Some sort of 4th-dimensional super orange? ;)

They said around 5:30 if you want it guaranteed.
That's what I figured. I've got an online order in already but I might as well give waiting in line one more shot, what have I got to loose?

I would like to know if all these people swarming to buy the RAtM track actually care about Christmas number 1's. I wonder if anyone does?
Of course they don't. Most of them probably just want to be involved in the commotion, so they can put their hand up and say "yeah, I downloaded that track, suck it Cowell!"

This hits what I think is their main hurdle...how do you get these numbers down.
A nearly 100C difference and the amps alone make this really a problem for basic consumer devices..
Now on an industrial scale...
If you want to power the temperature change yourself, you need a high current. But if you want to generate electricity from them, then just connect them into a circuit with out any powersupply i.e. stick a fan's power terminals on that, stick one side of the TEC on a hot chip or cup of tea etc. to setup the delta T. (temp difference) then the fan will start spinning!

Those were the two good games... Then there were things like Pac-Pix, Pokmon Rush etc. Also the original DS was really ugly, especially compared to the PSP :) In the end though, DS Lite came out as the winner.
One thing I really liked about the DS was that it came with a Metroid Prime Hunters demo, so there was at least something to play with immediately. Same thing with the AR cards included with the 3DS.
I'm really looking forward to future 3DS games, but then I always remember how the thing is region locked :( I have lots of Japanese and American games, for example Ouendan 1 & 2, Taiko no Tatsujin, Phoenix Wright etc. Many of these games didn't come out in Europe at all or came around a year late.

When I was deciding on getting a laptop, an HP Envy was suggested over the MacBook Pro 13 because it's supposedly just as good as a MacBook Pro.
Here's a video of an HP Envy along side a MacBook Pro 13. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0eTnABVBgw
Just seeing all the problems with that piece of crap made me decide that I'll buy the Mac. :) But, why else do you expect from a cheap Windows PC??

United is the ONLY airline that does this.
I wish they all did. Its a great way to enjoy the flight.
As for the ipod plugins, its great the only downside I see is it forces Apple into a single connector / body shape for future ipods. It would suck to release a new ipod that isn't useable on your next flight.

You got this from the update? Does this mean we no longer need to slipstream the drivers to get XP to recognize the drives at normal speed?
Having to deal with the slow drives is keeping me from installing Windows. If the update makes that easier, I might go for it. I'll probably put Windows on it's own drive and then boot off it.
That is correct. A normal XP install (without the slipstreamed drivers) will now give you full speed SATA drives. Worked for me on Mac Pro.

Wow. Your logic here is inescapable. What is it you're denouncing exactly?
Dear oh dear. Have you read the rest of this thread or did you just bull on in there at the end? So out of all the comments, you tried pulling me up on just this one. It's hardly deeply philosophical, are you really struggling? Nice try lil tiger.

Anything beats the embarrassment that Apple has in the current iOS.
You've gotta get worse to get better ;) I really want iOS 5 to have this... especially on the iPad. But with mission control I wonder if this is really the direction things are going?

Don't ever underestimate conservatives. Sorry for exporting our stupidity Canada. Hopefully, you guys figure this out fast and don't lose too much of what you have built.
You're starting to sound like a iPod repeating the same song over and over. Just sayin'
Let me just say, that as complacent as Canadian's appear, **** with our Universal Health Care, and there will be rioting (Edit: tasteful demonstrations) in the streets.
The Provincial government has made quite enough cut-backs, TYVM.
