You gotta love the Chicken Little histrionics from people who seven years ago gave the Republicans a blank check and said "Here, spend as much as you want, as long as you're killing camel jockeys and keeping America safe." Then when the dinner check comes, they want to kill funding for Planned Parenthood and NPR, which wouldn't make a dent in the debt incurred by The War On Terrah. Hell, the Shrub's plane ride to the "Mission Accomplished" banner probably cost more than two years' funding for NPR.

Sheesh, these computer geeks never heard of acting? My friend knows an actor in a herpes drug commercial who doesn't have herpes but says he does in the ad (how awkward would that be!).
As nearly all of you know, Justin Long isn't responsible for what he says in the ad. C'mon, think about it, is he really a Mac computer? OK, I will admit that John Hodgman, the fellow playing the PC, said that he was a computer on The Daily Show....
Anyway, Long will do fine with his movie career, no doubt.

Try going to settings->application settings
Once the page loads, go to the drop down box and select "allowed to post"
Find farmville and click edit settings and you can change it there.
Also, on the news page you can go and click the hide next to any farmville news, then you can select Hide Farmville. This will prevent it from showing up in the news feed.

Making them be more competitive on prices, or something? Its not that they make hardly any profit on petrol, you know. I assume its a helluva profit, and the prices depend on some kind of lobby decisions, thats for sure. So if you dont complain about the amount of money you pay for a litre, why would they lower it?

Whilst it's good to see Apple gaining some market share there is a part of me that does not want them to gain too much. I worry that if they ever become mass market that they will lose some of their uniqueness.

Again, those are majorities singling out a minority. You don't expect a group of hispanic men to jump a korean man if there's more korean's than hispanic's on the street corner. Likewise, blacks are the majority in a black ghetto. It's just that, when you look at the country as a whole, they are the minority.

Is it normal for it to take 45 minutes to export a 9-minute video via quicktime? I'm working off a desktop OSX and am a total novice at movie making.

Even Final Cut Pro will only use ONE core of your CPU (I hope to goodness their new update finally addresses that blunder of all blunders of all time). Handbrake is like 3x faster than Final Cut Pro even with ONE core, let alone many. But don't blame Apple. They've been far too busy updating iOS to bother with making OSX apps faster, update graphics drivers or the OpenGL libraries or generally do anything that makes OSX better than Windows these days. Phones are far more important than Macs. :rolleyes:

Even under Linux, it's easier than in Windows.
Networking is only hard if you have no clue what you are doing. Let's face it, most of it has been hidden away under layers and layers of auto-configuration that every OS under the sun has supported for decades now.
You barely even have to worry about cabling anymore, with MDI-X.
And personally, I find the Network and Sharing center confusing in Windows. It's like everything is buried way too deep. Windows 2000 was just perfect as far as the Windows implementation of a networking GUI configuration tool goes. It's been downhill ever since. Just give me flat text files any day of the week though.

First off Kodak doesn't even have to use its patents necessarily to sue, but clearly they have over the years since they've been making digital cameras and printers for quite some time. If you want to check each an every Kodak product for patent numbers, knock yourself out! :D
If someone says they use the patents, the burden is on them to prove it, not on me to disprove it.
And if they DO use the patents but they do not mark the patent number on them, they can't sue for past damages. If they do NOT use the patents, it shows the patents are not worth much because they are easy to avoid, and hence reasonable royalty damages will be very low, if not $0.

To me, your user name perfectly sums up the risk of messing with your Dock. There are all kinds of threads on this forum from (usually novice) users who run into big headaches from doing what you propose to do. If you were an expert user, you wouldn't be asking this, you'd know what to do and what not to do.

If I would leak something, I would make sure the device is clean, the camera is in focus and there is enough light.
Why are leaked images (almost) always such bad quality?
High quality images would make it too easy see that it's all fake/mockup/... ... guess that's also the reason for the ugly scratched plastic cover - if the thing would be real he/she would have taken it off for a better picture.
Macrumors: please move back to page2 or better page99 ... it's too obvious of a fake. I rather see the Wozniak comment on page1 since this has some real content.

There is simply no reason why T-Mobile could not have shared the spectrum with AT&T since other countries have independent competitors doing exactly that. See my post about concerning Canada and look at the UK and continental Europe.
